Is this a buggy or what?

Going grocery shopping isn't what it used to be! I now have to have the biggest buggy (for all you Northerner's that's a shopping cart) they make! Bailey loved the buggy and kept getting on and off and sometimes bringing me something she wanted like her Goldfish crackers. It was nice to have but it's a little hard to drive. So to my friends about to have their second baby this is what you have to look forward too! Where's Migros online when you need it?! (for those of you who don't know what Migros is...it's a grocery store in Turkey that delivered your groceries when you ordered online.)

I pumped my own gas today!

For the first time in over a year I pumped my own gas. Probably over the past 6 1/2 years I could count on one hand the number of times I've pumped my own gas. It was only when I came to the states that I did do any pumping. Thankfully, Turkey had full service gas stations which was so nice. So why did we get rid of full service gas stations in America? I guess someone thought they could do it faster if they did it themselves. I guess that's why we have self check-out lanes at the grocery stores now. Well I'm all for full service gas stations!

Look how cute!

Bailey has to hold Jesse everyday now. She gets upset if you don't let her hold him. He doesn't always like it because she bugs him to death!

This would never happen in Turkey

The other night we went to a Shane & Shane concert at the college. That's not the part that would never happen in Turkey though. These two guys came in and asked if the two seats (acutally there were three seats) in front of us were taken and I said no. So they asked me to save the two seats right in front of us. When they came back they sat down but left a seat in between them. I thought that's weird and then I almost started laughing because American guys don't want to sit too close to another guy! In Turkey they would sit down next to each other and then put their hand on the others leg or put their arm around each other. Personal space to them does not exist but to these two guys the other night they wanted to make sure they didn't sit too close to each other. It was funny. Reverse culture shock - you gotta love it!

Catching up again

I've been a little busy so I haven't been posting as much. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Do you know what this is around Bailey's neck? It's her Elmo potty seat. She won't sit on it but she'll put it on her head! I don't think that kind of use will get her potty trained!

Pull up your pants

The thing for Bailey to do lately is just pull down her pants. Why? I don't know. Sometimes she says "potty" but when you ask her if she wants to sit on the potty she says, "no, no".

Rated G

My friend Natalie gave me the idea of having our blog rated for content. You will be happy to know that our blog is rated G. But becareful if you go to Natalie's blog because it is rated R! It's nothing bad she just used the word "poop" one too many times! Wonder why she keeps talking about poop? (haha)
