We haven't done a family night in a while but this weekend we decided to watch a movie after supper. We watched "Bolt." Jesse watched probably a third of the movie and then lost interest until we broke out the popcorn and then he settled back down. Yes we bribe our kids with food sometimes! or chocolate!
Bailey loves to hold her little brother or as she calls him sometimes, Bubbie. She will also call Jesse -Bubbie as well but he is the big Bubbie and Jack is the little Bubbie. So funny!
Well the other day Jack found his thumb and a few fingers too. He hasn't really done it since so I'm not sure he will be a thumb sucker but maybe! He just looked so cute!
Jesse went trick or treating for the first time tonight. He dressed up as Scooby Doo. He had a great time going to the 5 or 6 houses we went to in the rain. But before the last house he told me he was ready to go home! Everyone loved his costume. Bailey was visiting some family in Alabama with her NeeNee. Jack was also a little cutie.
Two years ago today we made our way from Asia to Europe headed to the hospital because Jesse was ready to come into the world! We had to dodge the Euraisa Marathon hoping we didn't run into any traffic. After making it to the hospital Jesse was born about six hours later. Life with a little boy has been quite different but a blessing every minute! We love you Jesse! Happy Birthday!
Today we had a Thomas the Train party. I didn't make the cake like I normally would because of everything else going on! But Jesse loved it as you can tell by the pictures. Black icing is very had to get off! I don't recommend it for a toddler's cake. We had a small party with Billy's mom and two friends. Another friend was suppose to come but she decided to go into labor so we thought that was a good excuse. Hopefully she will have that baby girl soon! Anyway Jesse had a great party. He loved blowing out the candles and kept saying "do it one more time." So we blew candles out a couple of times. I think he is going to definitely keep us on our toes during the "terrible" twos!
Today I got them all together to take a picture! And they were even all awake! Bailey loves holding Jack. I think she would hold him almost all day if we would let her. Jesse held him but didn't seem to interested. He was a little indifferent about it. He wasn't asking to hold him again like Bailey was. Anyway here they are!
Well I tried two times yesterday to get a good picture of the kids because they looked so cute. But both times they wouldn't stand still or look at the camera. So this is as good as it gets! Can't wait til I'm trying to take a picture of three kids running around!
