4th Grade Fabulous!

Bailey has had an awesome year on 4th grade! First she was selected by her teachers to be one of four chosen to be the first 4th grade fabulous! Her teachers chose her because she was a good student, worked hard, kind and all around great student! I am so proud! Next she got all A's and was on honor roll! Wow! Because of honor roll she was invited to be in Junior Beta Club! I would say this year is off to a great start! Proud of you Bailey Ann Johnson!

And she was principal for a day! Thanks to her daddy!

Hiking

The other week we decided to go hiking and have some fun. It was a rare Saturday when we didn't have soccer because of spring break so we went for it! We haven't been really hikers but as the kids get older it is easier to do. Not as much whining from them like, "my feet hurt" "how much further" "are we almost there" you know comments like that that make it SO much fun for the parents! We are for the most part past this and we can all enjoy the hike. Thank goodness!

Easter 2016

We had some great friends come over to celebrate Easter with! The kids loved hiding the eggs although I didn't boil them long enough. Lesson learned: boil eggs for MUCH longer so that when the kids break them ooey gooey centers are not running out. :( #gross #messy And I might have gone a little crazy in buying those PAAS egg containers to dye eggs in. If you ever need some we have plenty! :)

Basketball

This year Jesse decided to play basketball and his daddy was one of the coaches. He had never played before. He had learned a little bit in gym class but thankfully the rest of his team was in the same boat. But unfortunately the other teams we played seemed to have players that were two feet taller and had played many times before. So it made for a long season. We tried to stay positive. It didn't seem to bother Jesse that they lost every game, thankfully. Jesse scored a few times throughout the season and their last game he scored 4 pts! High scorer! He wants to play next year so that is a good sign. But now it is on to soccer! :)
